#NewsBytesExclusive: Mugdha Godse shares her fitness secrets on her birthday
A former supermodel and the winner of the 'Miss Perfect Ten' title at Femina Miss India, Mugdha Godse stepped into showbiz with Fashion. The stunner is one of the fittest actors in Bollywood today, highly regarded for her well-toned physique and beautiful skin that most can only dream of. On her birthday, NewsBytes interacted with her to know what keeps her in fine fettle.
What does fitness mean to you?
"For me, fitness is a lifestyle. It's the way to improve your life and keep all your emotions intact," shares Godse. She further adds that it is also something that creates happy hormones in one and helps them live a fulfilling life. "I do Ashtanga yoga, swimming, and Pilates. They gel together and I like how my body feels after that," she reveals.

'I don't follow any adventure activity/sport but I love trekking'
On asking if she follows any adventure activity or sport to stay fit, the All The Best: Fun Begins actor states, "I don't follow any adventure activity but I love trekking." "I love going outdoors and walking in nature. If I can't swim on a certain day, I go for walking long distances and short impromptu treks by myself," mentions the supermodel.

What is your fitness routine like when you're traveling/shooting?
With the kind of physique she carries, Godse looks like someone who doesn't trade fitness for anything. And guess we were right! "When I am shooting or traveling, I prefer walking long distances or swimming. If the location is Mumbai, I get to attend my Pilates sessions. Yoga I can easily do in my room," shares the Will You Marry Me girl.
Do you follow any home remedies or Ayurvedic techniques?
"I think Ashtanga yoga pretty much covers everything. However, I do sip on warm water and take cold water showers as my body feels rejuvenated after that. Warm water works wonders for everyone," enlightens the Jail actor. She further reveals that when her tummy is upset, she consumes "ajwain (carom seeds) with lukewarm water." The beauty also practices oil pulling for dental health.

'My diet is all green smoothies': Godse
Coming to her diet, the Heroine star says, "My diet is all green smoothies featuring spinach, kale, soaked chia seeds, and some seasonal fruits. I sometimes experiment with coconut, pineapple, and apples." "I pair it with one meal or at most 1.5 meals a day which are freshly prepared, homecooked, gluten-free, and sugar-free," she adds. She says this has worked great for her body.

"I don't have cheat days. I love my gluten-free and sugar-free diet as it makes me feel super energized. But when I am out with friends, I eat samosa and vada pav. I don't like it but once in a while it's okay," tells Godse.
Rapid fire: Does Mugdha Godse have a Bollywood fitness partner?
One favorite food? A Marathi dish called Thalipeeth. Your go-to takeaway order? Salad with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, olives, goat/feta cheese, and hummus. A fitness exercise you don't like? Squats and lunges are irritating but good for the legs! A Bollywood partner to work out with? I can't work out with anyone because then that's timepass. I like to do my own thing.
