Happy birthday, Lindsay Lohan! Sharing the American actor's fitness secrets
The Parent Trap girl turns 37 today! Lindsay Lohan is one of the most incredible actors in Hollywood who started her career as a child model in many TV commercials and grew up to become a popular lead in several films. She's a mix of talent and fitness, which we believe is her secret to stardom. Here's how she keeps herself in fine fettle.
Lohan is a fan of exercise, meditation, and proper sleep
Exercise, meditation, and sleep are among the most important aspects of Lohan's fitness regime. During an interview, she revealed that she aims to get seven-eight hours of sleep daily. "I like my sleep and feel better when I get it," she added. Per reports, she meditates in the morning while taking a shower but does a range of fitness activities three-four days a week.
Meditation during shower? It's a yes for Lohan
"I go into the bathroom to meditate. I turn on the shower and leave it running while I do it. It may sound weird, but the sound of the water calms me—it's cozy and feels like no one can bother you," she told Health.
She prefers 'S Factor' as a preferred workout
Lohan does an "erotic yoga" called "S Factor" which combines yoga and Pilates. "It's very sexual and there are poles involved. It's good for you and it builds confidence and makes you think differently about how you treat your body," she told IANS. "And you sweat so much. The class starts with yoga, and then some stretching that feels like Pilates," she added.
'I love running on treadmills': Lohan
Interacting with a magazine, Lohan once shared, "I love running on treadmills; it's my favorite way to just release," which makes this activity a key part of her workout. "I'm not an outdoor runner, but I love the treadmill. I'll just put my headphones on, put the treadmill on an incline, and alternate between speed walking, jogging, and sprinting," she told Health.
The actor loves to cook and try new healthy recipes
When it comes to eating, Lohan focuses on practicing a clean and healthy diet. "I try to focus on balance. I love cooking and looking at recipes, so that's something that helps me incorporate healthy foods," she shared during an interview. Per reports, she doesn't have a sweet tooth and when craving for fast food, she opts for a kid's meal.
