During an interview with Vogue, Pednekar spilled the beans about her phenomenal weight gain and weight loss journey. "I've lost over 35 kg, after gaining 30 kg for a film. Since then, it's been a constant process of improvement—but I didn't do it by starving myself. I work really hard; it's become an active part of my routine," she said.
She runs and does Pilates, strength training, and weight training
The Bheed actor loves to do a combination of exercises to stay in shape. "I like to mix it up—Pilates, running, strength, and weight training," she shared during the same interview with Vogue. Additionally, she also once shared that she goes for a walk or run when she is sitting for more than 45 minutes. This helps her move and avoid aches/pains.
The 'Sonchiriya' girl hits the gym 5 days a week
Although Pednekar doesn't have a regimented rule when it comes to fitness, she is supremely loyal to hitting the gym five days a week. "One thing I stick to is reaching the gym at least five times. As opposed to a lot of people thinking that women should not lift weights, I have seen the difference with my weight training regimen," she revealed.

The actor savors rice and steers clear of refined sugar
Pednekar loves to eat rice as she told Vogue, "I eat rice regularly as opposed to people thinking that rice is not good for weight loss. That's not true at all. Rice has a lot of amino acids. It's very easy on your gut." She doesn't consume refined sugar and dairy products. "I can consume 200 gm of vegetables in various forms," she added.

Encouraging her fans and followers to prioritize fitness over everything, Pednekar told Vogue, "If you want something, don't wait for a Monday to begin working for it. Just show up." She further shared that she simply wakes up and shows up at the gym. "There's no dearth of excuses when the motivation is down. I knew I had to push past this," she stated.
