Try these exercises for a slim, toned face
A common fitness goal for many people is to achieve a toned and sculpted face. Incorporating facial exercises into your routine can help improve general facial muscle power and tone. These workouts support a more youthful and defined facial appearance in addition to helping to reduce facial fat. Here are some fundamental exercises to get closer to your objective of a sculpted face.
Fish pose
This exercise targets the muscles around the cheeks and is one of the easiest to do. Suck in your cheeks and lips to create a fish face. Close your mouth. Try to smile while holding the pose. Hold the pose for 15-20 seconds. You will feel the burn in your cheeks and jaw area. Release and relax. Repeat it a minimum of five times.
Mouthwash
This exercise helps minimize double chin and tones your cheeks. Find a comfortable position and fill your mouth with air. Next, gently move the air from side to side, mimicking the motion you would use with mouthwash. Repeat this exercise for a few minutes. Take a short break, then resume the exercise to maximize its benefits.
Cobra pose
Lie on your stomach with your toes flat on the floor to execute this yoga pose. Keeping your arms straight, place your palms behind your shoulders and steadily raise your head, chest, and abdomen off the ground. Extend your neck until you feel a stretch in your chin. Stay in this pose for a few seconds. Release. Repeat this for about five-10 times.
Chin lift
Sit or stand comfortably with your back straight. Keep your head back, and your mouth closed. Look up and stretch your neck as much as you can. Try to keep your lower lip over your upper lip. Hold the pose for about five seconds. Bring back your head to the starting position. Now repeat the exercise 10-15 times.
