How to wrap your plants creatively
Gifting a plant is among the finest options to consider, yet when it comes to wrapping a houseplant, you might find yourself a bit puzzled. Beyond conventional pots, plant wrapping opens up a world of possibilities for personalization and aesthetics. Elevate the art of gifting plants or simply add a dash of creativity to your indoor jungle by exploring imaginative ways to wrap them.
Place it in an open box
Take a round or square box. Place it inside a square box that is a few inches bigger and taller than the houseplant container. You can even wrap or paint the box beforehand. Insert some balled-up newspaper around it to keep the plant tight and secure. Secure the box with ribbons, and your plants will be dressed in elegance.
Wrap with paper
Place your plant on a level surface with scrapbook paper facing down. Next, keep the pot in the center. Fold the paper from below to resemble the pot. Once you get the raised corners, tie a ribbon around it. Write your wishes and tie a tag along with the ribbon if needed. For more aesthetics, get colored or fancier scrapbook paper.
Use burlap
Station the pot in a burlap square, then fold all of the material upward so that it covers the pot's sides and is pleated and smooth. Keep the burlap's raw edges intact to enhance the rustic look. Keep the folds in place with a few drops of hot glue, then fasten them together with a long, strong piece of twine knotted into a bow.
Do it florist style
Place the saucer and potted plant in the middle of a cellophane. The bunched cellophane should be securely fastened with a lengthy piece of Scotch tape. Then, to fasten them from the bottom, use bigger lengths of packing tape. Make sure there is enough space for a live plant to breathe. Add gift tags, bows, and raffia ribbons to finish.
