Review: Boujee Beauty eyeliner
No makeup look is truly complete without eyeliner, for it's the magic wand that defines the eyes, adding depth and personality to your appearance. I recently discovered the Boujee Beauty eyeliner and was eager to see if it lived up to the hype. Curious about the results? Read my review to find out!
First impressions
As I unboxed the eyeliner, I was instantly drawn to its shiny silver holographic cap, which added a stylish touch. Additionally, the eyeliner's sparkly purplish-blue color, in a transparent pen-shaped body, makes it very attractive. The standout feature is the thin, precise applicator, which makes application effortless and offers excellent control for both subtle lines and bold wings.
How it held up after application?
Upon application, the eyeliner glided on easily and was smudge-free, though the sparkle tended to transfer. It lasted several hours but began to fade with sweat, indicating it's not waterproof. Despite this, it's suitable for a simple look and requires minimal touch-ups due to its high pigmentation. I appreciated that while the color appears bold, it applies lighter than it looks in the package.
What can be improved?
The eyeliner takes a bit longer to dry, which can be inconvenient if you're in a hurry. The applicator, though precise, might not suit everyone's preferences for texture or control. Lastly, the color, while vibrant and sparkly, may not be ideal for those seeking a more understated look.
Is the Boujee Beauty eyeliner a hit or a miss?
Overall, I liked the product, which is priced at ₹1199. What really stood out to me was its simple and hassle-free application, which can be tediously messy with other products. The texture is also pleasant, feeling light and not thick on the eyes. Additionally, it has no unnecessary fragrance, which I find overwhelming in makeup. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
