June 8 is celebrated as Best Friends Day and today, we are acknowledging our pets that have nothing but only unconditional love and support to offer to us. Varun Sadana, co-founder of Supertails, shares fun ways to spend this day with our furry best friends!
Treat your besties to homemade delights
Food adds a much-needed flavor to every occasion, especially when you and your furball can enjoy them together. Wondering what to savor? Well, besides taking them out for a treat to a pet-friendly cafe, try making some dishes at home for your pooch. "Make your pet's taste buds dance with delight like burritos (bark-rittos) or pasta (pawsta)," says Sadana.
Organize a pet party
Call up your fellow pet parents and host a fun-filled paw-ty where all your pets can bond with each other. "Roll out the confetti and throw a celebration like no other! Invite their furry friends for a paw-some gathering filled with games, treats, and endless tail-wagging. Get ready to unleash the party animal within!" suggests the Supertails co-founder.
Embark on a rescue mission
"Create a superhero duo and venture out to a local animal shelter homes around you. Help socialize and care for furry friends in need. Together, you'll be the dynamic duo that saves hearts and wagging tails," enlightens Sadana. Additionally, if possible, educate everyone around you on how they can adopt and not shop to bring a pet home.
Capture and immortalize special moments
In the age of social media, it is no big deal to have an Instagram account for your pet too! With that said, you can seize the day and perhaps, create some reels or carousels with your furry best friend. "Create Insta-worthy moments with your pet. Dress them up in adorable costumes, strike a pose together, and unleash your inner paparazzi," tells Sadana.
