You can now stay at Barbie's Dreamhouse for Rs. 4,300
Growing up, Barbie's plastic Dreamhouse was the stuff of envy for many kids, featuring vibrant interiors, exquisite baths, and a sliding staircase, among other things. If you have ever wanted to live in that giant mansion, well, now you actually can. Barbie has just listed her Dreamhouse in Malibu (California, United States) for rent on Airbnb. Here's what the Dreamhouse offers its guests
The Malibu Dreamhouse boasts of two bedrooms- one with a king-sized bed and another with a queen-sized bed- a kitchen, and two bathrooms, along with free parking on the premises. The massive villa also offers an infinity pool and a hot tub, along with a slide connecting the first-floor balcony to the pool. However, Barbie forbids any party plans, smoking, and even pets!
Barbie won't be home, but you could meet her friends
In the Airbnb listing, "Barbie" writes that she will be out of town, however, guests can share experiences with her friends instead. She writes, "Learn how to fence with Ibtihaj Muhammad, create an exquisite meal in my fully-stocked kitchen with chef Gina Clarke-Helm, get a makeover with hairstylists from Mane Addicts Creator Collective while meeting with celebrity hairstylist and girl boss Jen Atkin..."
Barbie Dreamhouse available for guests for doll's 60th anniversary
Barbie is opening the doors to her Dreamhouse for four guests for a two-night-stay next week (October 27-29) on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the plastic doll, created by manufacturer Mattel in 1959. For one night, guests can book the whole villa for just Rs. 4,300. Unfortunately, the once in a lifetime stay has already been booked.
