Barbie-inspired hairstyles you can try out at home
Barbie's hairstyles have left an indelible mark on the world of fashion and beauty. From timeless classics to chic and trendy looks, Barbie's hairdos are a source of inspiration for fashionistas of all ages. With the upcoming release of the Barbie movie, Barbiecore trends are getting all the more crazy. Here are four ways you can try out Barbie's hairstyles at home.
Flicked ends
The flicked-up ends give Barbie's hair its distinctive look. This classic and basic hairstyle is easily achievable. Use a medium-sized round brush to dry portions of hair. Smoothen them before rolling and letting the ends cool. Then, gently brush them out. Use a curling iron to create soft curls or waves at the end. Secure your hair using a cute hair bow.
The classic Barbie ponytail
Start by giving your hair a good brushing to get rid of any knots or tangles. Gather all your hair at the back of your crown and secure it with an elastic band. Wrap a little length of hair around the elastic band to hide it for an added touch of elegance. You can also add a vibrant or sparkly ribbon.
Chunky braid
Chunky braid gives you a messy but stylish hairstyle to flaunt. Firstly, blow dry your hair to create volume. Now section your hair neatly and create a loose plait. Hold the end of the plait firmly with one hand, and loosely tug and fluff each part of the plait starting from the top with the other hand. Now, secure it with a rubber band.
Half-pinned wavy hairstyle
Firstly, use some dry shampoo for volume at the teased crown area. Then blow dry your hair with a round brush for big, loose waves down the hair. Neatly gather up the top portion of your hair from all sides to the back of your crown. Now, add a bow tie, or make a ponytail there.
