This London Airbnb is a bathroom with a bed!
What's the story
When you book a rental on Airbnb, you expect the photos to accurately reflect what you will find when you check in.
However, sometimes, photos can be misleading.
One example of this is when David Holtz, an assistant professor at UC Berkeley, checked in, he discovered his bed right beside the toilet with only a thin glass wall separating them.
Shower
The room also had a small shower with transparent glass
Holtz shared a photo of the rental room, allegedly based in London, on Twitter, where it quickly went viral. Holtz later switched to a private account.
Many were amused by the unusual layout, while others were disappointed by the misleading photos.
The photo shows a commode seat, a small shower with a transparent glass wall, and a sink around the bed.
Airbnb's response
The post prompted Airbnb to respond
The post also prompted a response from Airbnb's official help account.
The company encouraged Holtz to send his email address connected to his Airbnb account so that the vacation rental company could investigate the alleged rental property.
Holtz claimed that he had spoken to Airbnb customer support multiple times, but that each time, the company had "no interest in helping resolve the issue."

Amused Twitter users showered hilarious comments
Meanwhile, people on Twitter had a field day with Holtz's photo, poking fun at the unusual rental space.
"It's the clear glass between the toilet and bed, like you couldn't even color it for a privacy partition," one person commented.
Another joked, "You've got everything you need within arm's reach."
Someone else joked that they had "always wanted to brush teeth in bed."

One questioned the post's authenticity
Show us the original listing or it doesn’t count … how did they conceal this in the listing photos? That is going to be the most impressive part of it all.
