Til ka laddoo
Saute sesame seeds in canola oil until golden brown. Soak saffron in warm milk and keep aside. Melt some jaggery, add saffron milk to it, and stir well. Add softened khoya and the sesame seeds and blend well. Cool the mixture. Oil your palms, take small portions of the mixture, and shape them into balls. You can store the laddoos in an airtight container.
Sesame seed pulao
Wash rice with water and drain. Dry roast red chilies and sesame seeds in a pan and grind them. For the tempering, cook butter, cream, and fried nuts. Saute mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves in ghee. Add water, rice, salt and ground red chilies and sesame seeds mix, and cook well. Add the cream tempering, mix, cook well and serve hot.
Sesame seed cookies
These sesame seed cookies are thin crispy rounds that have an interesting flavor profile. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt and sieve the mixture. Add chopped potatoes, onion, and white sesame seeds, and cook well. Add garam masala powder, chili powder, amchur powder, turmeric powder, salt, green peas, prepared ground powder, and green chilies, and cook well. Serve hot.
