Punnathur Kotta

Athirappilly Waterfalls
Located on the outskirts of Thrissur, the mesmerizing Athirappilly Waterfalls is the largest falls in the state. This 24 meters tall and 100 meters wide waterfall is also sometimes called the "Niagara Falls of India." The falls, nestled on the Chalakudy River, is the perfect spot for a group outing. Shining like a pure white gemstone in Thrissur, the Basilica Of Our Lady of Dolours, or the Dolours Basilica is nestled amidst lush green valleys of the city. It is the largest church in the state, spread across an area of 25,000 square feet. Sporting Indo-Gothic style architecture, the interiors of the church feature fine specimens of murals and scenes from the Scriptures.
