Get ready for game day with these 5 delicious dips
What's the story
The term Game Day is usually used in the US to refer to the day a game of football is scheduled for.
Super Bowl is their biggest game day when friends gather and have a blast.
But hey, you can do the same for any sport.
Finger foods and dips are a favorite on this day.
So here are five dips you can make.
Number 1
Cheesy salsa dip
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix some Mexican salsa, a bag of frozen corn, two cups of shredded cheddar cheese, one cup of mayonnaise, and sliced chilies in a bowl.
Mix everything well.
Put this mixture into a baking dish and bake for around 40 minutes.
This dip is great to have with tortilla chips and also pairs with other crispy snacks.
Number 2
Spicy feta dip
Take about 150 grams of crumbled feta cheese, 1/3 cup of roasted red pepper, 1/4 artichoke hearts, two chopped onions, two cloves of garlic minced, hot sauce, pepper, and salt.
Grind the above ingredients and add olive oil till you get a dip-like consistency.
It can either be had just this way or if you prefer it warm, microwave for about a minute.
Number 3
Cheesy jalapeño dip
Mix two packs of cream cheese, one cup mayonnaise, one cup of Mexican blend cheese, 1/2 cup grated parmesan, diced green chilies, and diced jalapeños.
Spread the ingredients on the baking dish.
Mix breadcrumbs in a bowl, half a cup of parmesan cheese, and melted butter.
Sprinkle over the dip and bake until the top becomes brown and the cheese starts to bubble.
Number 4
Baba ganoush
This middle eastern eggplant dish is a hit at parties.
Cut the eggplant into two, apply olive oil, and roast in an oven or on a grill on the stove.
Scoop out the flesh, whisk in the garlic, lemon juice, and tahini. Once creamy, add olive oil, parsley, and salt.
Transfer to a bowl and drizzle olive oil and paprika.
Serve with pita bread.
Number 5

This mashed potato dip is creamy and tasty.
Put equal parts of mayonnaise and sour cream in a bowl with a pack of cream cheese.
Add mashed potatoes into the mixture and stir again.
