Removing pimples is simple with these home remedies
Pimples are like those annoying, uninvited guests who have nothing better to do than show up on random occasions and spoil everything! While it may be easy to get rid of the guests, most of us have a hard time breaking free from breakouts. Fret not, these natural and home remedies can help you eliminate pimples for good.
Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar comprises citric acid which is believed to kill the bacteria causing pimples and acne. As per a study conducted in 2017, it helps in improving the appearance of your skin, gradually making the pimples disappear. Mix one tablespoon of it in three cups of water. Dip a cotton swab and cleanse your face. Mix more water if it causes burning.
Honey and cinnamon
Honey and cinnamon are both antibacterial and together make for the perfect remedy to get rid of acne and pimples. All you have to do is, make a paste by mixing two tablespoons of honey and one tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Cleanse your face, apply this mask, and let it stay on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse and pat dry your face.
Aloe vera
Aloe vera gel is rich in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and amino acids that are good for the skin, which is why it is often used to treat acne, rashes, burns, and wounds. For it to work, squeeze out some fresh aloe vera gel and apply it directly on your face as a moisturizer. You can repeat it twice or thrice daily.
Yeast and yogurt
Yeast has vitamin B which makes skin soft and clear. Yogurt, on the other hand, is blessed with powerful and natural antibacterial and antifungal properties which are highly beneficial for your skin to fight acne. Together, they treat acne and balance your skin's texture. Mix one tablespoon of yeast with some yogurt to make a thin mixture. Apply to the face for 15-20 minutes.
Turmeric
Turmeric is loaded with antioxidants as well as strong antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Mix 1/2 cup of chickpea flour, along with two tablespoons each of turmeric, sandalwood, and ghee in a bowl. Apply it to your face and leave it on for five to 10 minutes. Post that, rinse well and pat dry. Repeat this twice or thrice a week.
