Mushroom brown rice
Mildly seasoned with pepper and salt and flavored with mushrooms, this brown rice dish is healthy and wholesome. Saute onions in olive oil until pink. Add chopped mushrooms and saute well. Add chopped capsicum and saute again. Add pre-washed brown rice and saute for five-seven minutes. Add salt, pepper, and water, and cook the mixture for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
Brown rice salad
This brown rice salad is easy-to-make and will satisfy your hunger pangs. It is refreshing and light. Rinse brown rice in water. Cook the rice well, drain, and rinse in cold water. Mix chopped red pepper, green pepper, spring onions, tomatoes, parsley, and cooked rice. Add lemon juice, salt, black pepper, chopped garlic, and olive oil, and mix.
Brown rice dosa
Soak brown rice in water and keep aside. Combine together urad dal, fenugreek seeds, and chana dal and soak in water. Blend the brown rice with water until smooth.
