Beautiful places you should visit when in Jharkhand

Betla National Park
Located over the hilly terrain of the Palamau district, west of Ranchi in Jharkhand, the Betla National Park is known for its stunning flora and fauna and diversified ecosystem. Spreading over an area of 979 sq km, it is one of the first nine tiger reserves established in India. You may easily spot some wild elephants, tigers, leopards, axis, and bison when here.
Shikharji
One of the most popular pilgrimage sites for Jains, Shikharji is nestled on Parasnath Hill, the highest mountain in Jharkhand. According to legends, 20 out of 24 Jain Tirthankarars along with several monks attained moksha in this holy place. The mountain stands at a height of 1,350 meters. The mountain temple has inscriptions in Sanskrit that make it more intriguing.
Dasham Falls
Falling from a height of 144 feet, Dasham Falls is located near the Tamara village in Ranchi. The water here primarily originates from the Kamchi River and the unique feature of this waterfall is that one can see 10 distinct water streams when the main waterfall is cascading down. There are a couple of stairs that you need to climb to reach the spot.
Netarhat
Located in the Latehar district of Jharkhand, Netarhat is a beautiful hill station that is also known as the "Queen of Chotanagpur." It is nestled at a height of 1,128 meters above sea level and will mesmerize you with its scenic landscape and lush green surroundings. The place boasts pleasant weather that makes it ideal to visit during the summer season.
Bokaro
The fourth largest and most populated city in Jharkhand, Bokaro is well-known for its coal and steel industries. This major industrial center is most famous for its steel plant and therefore it's also called the "Steel City of India." When here, you must visit the Jawahar Nehru Biological Park, Kali Mandir, Ram Mandir, Garga Dam, and the Bokaro Ispat Pustakalaya.
