If you enjoy a good soak in your bathtub, you will agree that a relaxing bathing experience is more than just splashing water on yourself. After all, adding a pinch of your favorite bath salt can cleanse your skin, ease achy muscles, and make you energized. But why buy it when you can make it at home, right? Well, it's time for some DIY!
Orange bath salt
Mix some dendritic salt in a bowl and add a few drops of orange essential oil for aroma. To this, add Epsom salt, sea salt, and baking soda, and stir all the ingredients well. Add orange color and then spread the mixture on a baking parchment. Leave it to dry for 48 hours. Keep stirring at regular intervals. Transfer it into an air-tight container.
Lavender and coconut milk bath salt
Begin by mixing some dendritic salt with lavender fragrance oil. Now add some cornstarch, followed by some sea salt before you finally mix it further. Next, combine some coconut milk powder and stir well to blend all ingredients. Leave this mixture to dry for at least 48 hours, stirring from time to time through the process. Store in an air-tight container and use.
Foaming bath salt
Bubble baths are fun with this salt. Mix up dendritic salt and an essential oil of your choice. Now add some baking soda and sea salt. Stir well until well combined. For safety, cover your face and mix some Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA) into this mixture. Next, add a pinch of mica powder to it and then mix. Dry for 48 hours and store.
Rose, calendula, and lavender bath salt
Combine sea salt and Epsom salt. Give it a nice mixture. To this, add orange and lavender essential oils and stir to mix them well. Now scatter some rose petals, lavender buds, and calendula flowers into the mixture and stir. Once done, pour this mixture into a cosmetic jar or an air-tight container. It's ready for instant use!
Epsom oatmeal bath salt
It's pretty simple and no-fuss to make this green bath salt which you can use for healthy, soft, and glowing skin. Start by mixing dendritic oil with lemon, lime, and grapefruit essential oils. Add some Epsom salt, ground oatmeal, and spirulina. Mix all the ingredients well. Allow this mixture to dry for 48 hours and then store it in a cosmetic jar. Easy, right?
