These airports have earned recognition for their exceptional services and timely performance. An independent board of industry experts analyzed the data to ensure accuracy and fair representation.

Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport clinched the second position in global punctuality rankings, boasting an on-time departure rate of 84.42% and a total of 168,426 flights. Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport followed closely in third place, with an on-time departure rate of 84.08% and 237,461 flights. Both airports have shown unwavering dedication to operational accuracy, significantly enhancing passengers' experiences.

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (USA) grabbed the first spot with an on-time departure rate of 84.44% and 289,817 flights. Colombia's El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá ranked fourth, with an on-time departure rate of 84.01% and 292,486 flights. Lastly, Salt Lake City International Airport (USA) secured fifth place with an on-time departure rate of 83.99% and 226,705 flights. These airports have consistently prioritized punctuality, ensuring a dependable travel experience for passengers.

Delta Air celebrates being a 'platinum' award holder yet again

Delta Air Lines (DL) was honored with Cirium's Platinum Award for global operational excellence, marking its third consecutive year receiving the accolade. According to Cirium Aviation Analytics' 2023 on-time arrival rankings, Delta Air led among North American airlines and secured the fourth position among global leaders. Notably, Colombia's largest airline, Avianca Airlines (AV), claimed the top spot with an impressive on-time performance of 85.73%, totaling 213,039 flights worldwide.

IndiGO earns 4th spot in the top Asia Pacific airlines

IndiGo ranks fourth in the report as one of the top carriers in the Asia Pacific region. It's the only Indian airline company to make it to this list. With a staggering on-time performance (OTP) of 82.12%, the airline giant also finished eighth among low-cost carriers. Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (NH) topped the list with 82.75%.
