Indra Nooyi, globally-renowned Indian-American business leader, is one of the most famous IIM-Calcutta alumni. She worked at PepsiCo for over 24 years and retired as CEO in 2018. She's a member of Amazon's board and Independent Director of International Cricket Council (ICC). After graduating from Madras Christian College, Chennai-born Nooyi obtained MBA from IIM-Calcutta and earned a master's degree from Yale School of Management.
Chief Economic Adviser Krishnamurthy Subramanian is an IIM-Calcutta alumnus
Krishnamurthy Subramanian, the current Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India (CEA), is another noted IIM-Calcutta alumnus. He was appointed as the Chief Economic Adviser in December 2018. He studied electrical engineering at IIT-Kanpur and later pursued Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from IIM-Calcutta.
