A 24-year-old woman, Surya Devi, was arrested today for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami and BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan in a video posted on social networking sites, police said. Following a complaint, Devi was arrested from her hometown Manapparai under relevant sections of the IPC. Devi was produced before a local court. Here are more details.
