Woman injures man's genitals with spatula over unwanted sexual advances
A 30-year-old man was hospitalized after a woman defended herself against his alleged sexual advances by injuring his genitals with a metal spatula, in Maharashtra's Thane district. The incident occurred when the accused, identified as Anil Satyanarayan Raccha, reportedly intoxicated at the time, attempted to misbehave with the 26-year-old woman at her residence in Bhiwandi area. The police have confirmed that both parties are acquainted.
Woman defends herself by injuring man's genitals
The incident took place around 4:30 pm on Friday when Raccha visited the woman's house and allegedly made sexual advances toward her. According to the police, he also exposed himself to her. In response, the woman raised an alarm and rushed into her kitchen where she grabbed a metal spatula. She used this utensil to strike Raccha in his private parts, causing significant injury.
Accused hospitalized, case registered
Following the incident, a severely injured Raccha fled from the woman's house and sought medical attention. He is currently receiving treatment in a hospital. The woman has lodged a complaint with Bhiwandi town police, who have registered a case against Raccha for outraging the modesty of a woman, sexual harassment, and trespass under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). However, no arrest has been made yet as Raccha remains hospitalized.
