Woman, family attempt suicide outside Yogi Adityanath's residence
A woman and her family attempted suicide outside Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath's residence on Sunday. The woman alleged she was raped by BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar and his accomplices. But no action was taken against them, she claimed. However, police stopped them from killing themselves. ADG Rajiv Krishan said a probe has begun. He also revealed both parties were warring for years.

Reportedly, the woman put oil on her outside CM's residence. Cops present at the spot intervened and took her to the police station. At the station, the woman and her family members attempted suicide again but were stopped.
Accused MLA alleges framing, wants "real culprit" punished
Dissing the serious allegations levelled against him, Sengar said he was being framed. Telling his side of the story, Sengar said a case was registered against the family, and he had helped two innocents being made a scapegoat by them. Sengar called for a fair investigation, saying the family had left no stone unturned to defame him. He demanded punishment for the "real culprit."
