Delhi: Woman dragged, stripped, paraded naked by liquor mafia
What's the story
In a disturbing case, a 33-year-old woman in Delhi, who had helped cops raid illicit liquor traders, was allegedly attacked with iron rods, dragged and paraded naked by women involved in the trade.
The incident happened in JJ Colony of Narela yesterday.
Police said the main accused and her husband had criminal records and had attacked her earlier too.

Woman attacked day after she helped police raid illegal traders
The victim, a Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) volunteer and a Nasha Mukti Panchayat member, had assisted police several times in their drive against illicit liquor.
Two days ago, she had led police and DCW teams to a house from where they seized 300 bottles.
DCW chief Swati Jai Hind said the next day, over 25 "criminals" assaulted her publicly and filmed the incident.

Cops slammed after 'trivializing' incident
Delhi Police faced flak after calling it a "reaction and quarrel by some ladies of same JJ cluster as victim".
It also denied her clothes were torn, saying it must have happened in the scuffle.
However, it has since registered an FIR for the attack as well as for the sale of illicit liquor.

DCW
Six arrested, DCW summons Rohini DCP
The DCW has now asked the Rohini DCP to appear before it by December 12 or face action, even as Jai Hind accused cops of "active connivance".
It has also sought an action taken report in the matter.
Six women have already been arrested, police confirmed.
Meanwhile, the victim has been shifted to a government hospital in central Delhi.
