Fed up with daily torture, Jharkhand woman murders husband
What's the story
A woman was arrested recently for allegedly killing her husband in Palamau district, Jharkhand.
The wife said she conspired the murder as her husband used to torture her daily.
Five others, who were involved in the murder, were arrested as well, police said today.
The deceased, identified as Amresh Oraon, a resident of Maknapur village, went missing on January 14.

Recovery
Oraon's body recovered on the banks of Amanat river
After Oraon went missing, his family filed a complaint with the police following which the investigation started.
His body was recovered by the police from the banks of Amanat river on the basis of a lead provided by his friend Raju Baitha, who was arrested on Monday after questioning, SP of Palamau, Indrajeet Mahatha, said.
Oraon's village, Maknapur, is located near the river.

Accused assured Oraon to help him meet his missing father
Yesterday, the police arrested five more persons, including Oraon's wife Rajo Devi, for their involvement in the murder, Mahatha said.
The accused persons had assured Oraon that they would help him meet his father, Sudesh Oraon, who has been missing since the last two months, the SP (Superintendent of Police) said.
Oraon had left home to meet his father but never returned.

Wife took husband's friend's help to execute the murder
Rajo told police that she hatched the conspiracy to kill Oraon since he used to torture her regularly, and took Baitha's help to kill her husband. Four others arrested in connection with this case are Arman Khan, Junaid Khan, Naushad Khan and Gautam Mahato.
