Himachal Congress MLA slaps cop, gets slapped right back
In Himachal Pradesh, an MLA decided to slap a cop. What grabbed eyeballs is when the cop slaps her right back. The MLA, identified as Congress leader Asha Kumari, was apparently being denied entry into a meeting by Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, reports ANI. In anger, she is seen slapping a woman constable. She continues assaulting her even after she is slapped back.

What was happening in the video?
Gandhi was in Shimla today to review Congress' performance in the assembly elections, where it won just 21 of 68 seats. According to reports, Kumari was denied entry into the meeting, but why that happened is not known. She is seen among a crowd of people, arguing, when she slaps the cop, who slaps her immediately. Unfazed, she slaps her again before others interfere.
Rahul Gandhi was in town to discuss Congress' defeat
In the recent polls in Himachal, in contrast to Congress' 21, BJP managed to bag 44 seats and won. According to sources, Gandhi will meet candidates who lost, legislators and district presidents to discuss the reasons for the defeat.
