West Bengal: Daughter mistakes gun for toy, accidentally shoots mother
In West Bengal's Hoogly district, a minor accidentally shot her mother with a pistol on Sunday. The child was given the gun by her mother to play with. While playing with the loaded gun, the daughter accidentally shot her mother in the back. The woman was rushed to Arambag Hospital and her condition is said to be critical. "The girl said the pistol suddenly went off and the bullet hit her mother sitting in the room. She is in a state of shock," a police officer told a daily.
