Video: Kolkata airport flooded after heavy rain; more showers predicted
Heavy rainfall caused waterlogging on the runway at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, West Bengal, after an intense deluge pounded the city and surrounding regions on Saturday. Planes were observed parked on waterlogged taxiways. The airport, however, is functioning smoothly without disruption. The city of Kolkata and its surrounding areas are experiencing continuous rain due to a deep depression caused by a low-pressure area.
