Vice President Dhankhar takes holy dip in Sangam

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, along with his family, took part in a religious ceremony at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Saturday.
He was welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath when he arrived by helicopter.
During the visit, Dhankhar praised the spiritual significance of Triveni Sangam and took part in several religious rituals.

Dhankhar praised the arrangements for the Maha Kumbh, calling them "amazing," "unimaginable," and a "miracle" of the administration.
He noted that the gathering of devotees at the event was equal to the population of the United States.
The Vice President also appreciated the arrangement of over one lakh toilets and free meals for thousands of attendees.

Dhankhar also shared his emotional experience after taking a holy dip in the Sangam. He said, "When I took a dip, I realized there is no country like India." He called this the "happiest moment" of his life.
The Vice President also visited Saraswati Koop, Akshay Vat, and Bade Hanuman Temple to perform traditional "puja" rituals during his visit.

Dhankhar praised Adityanath for hosting what he called an unmatched spiritual congregation.
He said despite a tragic accident at the event, which claimed at least 30 lives in a stampede, the administration managed it well.
The Vice President ended his visit by offering prayers and expressing gratitude for being a part of such a well-planned event.
