To 'avenge' raped-sister, brother and associates rape accused's minor sister
In what is sure to make you sick to the guts, a rape victim's relatives raped the minor sister of an accused in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, to 'avenge' the crime. The 15-year-old victim was accompanied by her mother when the incident happened. The men asked the two to get on a vehicle, on the pretext of giving lift and raped the minor, as her helpless mother watched.
Mother-daughter taken to secluded-spot, men took turns to rape minor
The victim and her mother were on their way to Anauga Jail, to meet the latter's son. He was arrested for raping a girl two years ago. On their way, a Bolero jeep stopped them near Jalalabad Crossing, and the mother-daughter hopped on. They were then taken to a secluded area where men, including the rape victim's brother and maternal uncle, raped the minor.
After raping minor, men threw her out of moving vehicle
When the mother tried to protest the atrocity, she was silenced at gunpoint. After the minor became unconscious, the men threw the two out of the moving vehicle. The mother, somehow, called her younger son and narrated the ordeal. The brother of the rape victim who violated the minor was identified as Hakim, and his uncle is named Aalha. A case has been registered.
Case under relevant section of IPC, POCSO Act, registered
The girl was admitted to a local hospital for treatment and examination. A case under IPC Section 376D and POCSO Act was registered against the four men, including Hakim and Aalha. RB Singh, the SHO Gursahaiganj Police Station said, "It seems that the rape victim's brother and relatives took the revenge by gang-raping sister of the jailed accused."
