UP Board declares Class X and XII results: Details here
The results for Class X and Class XII of Uttar Pradesh state board have been declared by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) today. The candidates can check the results online on these websites, upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in. Notably, Gautam Raghuvanshi from Kanpur topped the Class X examination with 97.17% and Tanu Tomar topped Class XII with 97.83% Here's how you can check yours.
Girls aced Class XII examinations, held top three ranks
As far as Class X results are concerned, there are 21 students in top 10. Following the topper Raghuvanshi, are Shivam with 97% and Tanuja Vishakarma with 96.83%. Interestingly, both of them belong to Barabanki. Meanwhile, girls aced the Class XII results as all the top three ranks are held by them: Tanu Tomar (topper, 97.8%); Bhagyashree (second topper, 94.8%) and Akanshya (third topper, 94.8%).

Pass percentage dipped from last year
Meanwhile, the pass percentage has reduced this year. A total of 80.07% students have passed in Class X and 70.06% students have passed in Class XII. The evaluation process was held across 230 evaluation centers countrywide from March 8, 2019, to March 25, 2019. While over 35,000 evaluators were a part of evaluation, around 29 lakh students registered for the examinations this year.

In order to check the results, the candidates can follow the following steps: Step 1: Visit the official website (upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in) Step 2: Click on the result declaration announcement link Step 3: You will be redirected to a fresh page Step 4: Log in using the roll number and school code Step 5: Result will appear on the screen.
You can also check them via SMS
Apart from the official websites, students can also check their results via SMS. In order to check the results through SMS, type UP10ROLLNUMBER (for Class X) and UP12ROLLNUMBER (for Class XII) from your mobile and send it to 56263. Moreover, the students can also download a free mobile application, U.P. Board Results 2019, to the results.
Separately, UP Board increased re-evaluation fee by 5%
This year, the UP Board has increased the re-evaluation fee by as much as 5% making it the costliest in the country. Instead of Rs. 100, the students will now have to pay Rs. 500 as the re-evaluation fee for one subject.
