Over 10L students skipped the board exams this time
This time, over 10L students, or 15% of the registered candidates, skipped the board exams in the first four days. Officials attributed it to stricter measures, which they adopted after mass complaints of blatant cheating last year. This year, the Board mandated CCTV cameras at exam centers, appointed administrative officers as sector magistrates, and even roped in STF and local intelligence.
