UP BJP leaders will handle media management in poll-bound MP
To give an edge to the BJP in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, four spokespersons from the party's Uttar Pradesh unit have been dispatched to the neighboring state for effective media management, a party leader said Sunday. The spokespersons will be responsible for disseminating information pertaining to various welfare measures initiated by the Center and ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state. BJP-spokespersons likely to celebrate Diwali in MP while serving duties
Alok Awasthi, Tarunkant, Shalabh Mani Tripathi and Rakesh Tripathi have already left for Madhya Pradesh, a senior UP BJP leader said Sunday adding that they were likely to remain there till the last day of campaigning. When contacted, one of the four spokespersons camping in Madhya Pradesh said, "Most of us are likely to celebrate Diwali in the poll-bound state."

"Alok Awasthi will be doing media management in Shahdol division of MP. It covers Shahdol, Umaria, Anuppur districts," the senior UP BJP leader said. "Similarly, Tarunkant has been assigned the Rewa division and will look after the districts of Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, and Singrauli," he added. Shalabh Mani Tripathi will handle Gwalior division, which consists of Gwalior, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Datia and Guna districts.

The last spokesperson, Rakesh Tripathi will be responsible for Sagar division covering districts of Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, and Niwari.
The timetable of Madhya Pradesh's Assembly election
According to the Election Commission, the issuance of notification for the MP Assembly election will be done on November 2, while November 9 is the last day of nominations. Scrutiny of nominations will be done on November 12 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 14. Voting will be held on November 28, and counting of votes on December 11.
