At Tej Pratap Yadav's wedding, unruly crowd steals crockery, food-items
Tej Pratap Yadav's wedding with Aishwarya Rai on Saturday was mired in chaos with an unruly crowd stealing food items and breaking crockery. The wedding of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's eldest son with party legislator Chandrika Rai's daughter was reportedly attended by 7,000 guests. However, the arrangement wasn't adequate for them, allowing few miscreants to create ruckus at the venue.
After couple exchange garlands, crowd goes berserk
Soon after Tej Pratap and Aishwarya Rai exchanged garlands, crowd (reportedly consisting of RJD supporters) breached the cordon and looted food items. The intruders broke crockery, upturned tables; devastating the venue. Many media people complained of being manhandled. Few RJD leaders tried warding them off but in vain. Apparently, mismanagement of guests led to the chaos.

Though not many political heavyweights attended the much-talked-about event, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar did not give it a miss. He hugged Lalu Prasad Yadav, almost nine months after the grand alliance of Bihar ended, and posed with the couple. Ram Vilas Paswan also attended the wedding at the Veterinary College ground in Patna. Rahul Gandhi and Mamata Banerjee's absence caught attention.
