The police have registered a case against two BJP workers Raja Ram, 35, and Mukesh Thakur, 32, for allegedly raping a 28-year-old woman for two years. The incident was reported in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. The police have arrested Ram and are trying to nab Thakur. Ram, who ran a center under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas (Skill Development) Yojana, threatened the victim repeatedly.
Woman alleged Ram forced her to sleep with his friend
In her complaint, the woman alleged Ram raped her many times by 'cheating' and 'luring her'. Ram allegedly also forced the woman to sleep with his friend Thakur. Mukesh Thakur told the woman he was a local representative of Dewas MP Manohar Untwal, an association the latter denied. Sehore district BJP president Sitaram said they were gathering information and would take appropriate action.
