Footballer Sunil Chhetri weaved magic this year even on Twitter.
The Indian football team skipper's request to football fans to fill the stadium during the International Cup 2018 match of India against Kenya is the Most Retweeted Tweet of the year from India.
The video tweet has been retweeted almost 60,000 times following which all 7,000 tickets at Mumbai Football Arena were sold out.

This was the first karwachauth for actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli.

In Twitter's Top 10 Hashtags, regional entertainment conversations about South Indian movies like #Sarkar, #Viswasam, #BharatAneNenu, and TV show #BigBossTelugu2 saw massive engagement among Twitter users.
Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss, took the cake here as the politically underlined movie got the audience expressing their opinions on the microblogging site.

This year, Twitter also saw huge engagement of users debating, ranting about many ground-breaking and influential incidents of 2018.
