Tripura government prepares draft of revised rules for recruitment
Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Devvarma said the government would soon introduce new recruitment rules for all departments. The draft of revised rules, which will be discussed with all the ministers, has been prepared and is waiting for the government's approval, said Devvarma, who is also the Finance Minister of the state. The Chief Minister would also review the draft of revised rules.
Tripura has highest government employee rate at 4.38%
On the implementation of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) benefits, Devvarma said that work was being done for implementing the revised perks at a fast pace. "We have commissioned a committee," he added. Devvarma claimed Tripura had the highest rate of government employees (4.38%) proportionate to the state's population. The government employees' rate in Gujarat was 0.35%, while in Assam, it was 0.77%.
