Tripura class 10 exam paper postponed. Find out why
To avoid clash with the new BJP government's oath-taking ceremony scheduled to be held tomorrow, the language paper of class 10 conducted by Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has been rescheduled. "Students will appear for language papers like Bengali, Hindi and Mizo on March 10 instead of 9. We have rescheduled the exam due to unavoidable circumstances," said TBSE president Mihir Kanti Deb.
Postponed Class 12 exams to start from today
Last month, BJP's youth wing ABVP activists demanded postponement of both class 10 and 12 exams due to the polls. Three papers of class 12 - English, Mathematics and Philosophy - were rescheduled to avoid clash with the assembly elections. The class 12 exams will start from today and go on till April 13 and class 10 exams will end on April 10.
Biplab Kumar Deb, CM elect, to take oath tomorrow
Biplab Kumar Deb will take oath in presence of PM Narendra Modi and other Union ministers tomorrow. "My main focus will be on good governance, health, education. I will take advice from Manik Da (former CM) as he has governed the state," he said yesterday.
