Kerala: Motorcyclist entangles in rope tied for Modi's security, dies
A motorcyclist, Manoj Unni from Vaduthala, Kerala lost his life due to an unexpected road hazard. The incident occurred at 10:30pm on Sunday when Unni collided with a rope that was part of the security measures for Prime Minister Modi Narendra Modi's visit. Despite immediate medical attention, Unni could not be saved.
Family raises concerns over nighttime visibility of hazard
Following the tragic incident, Unni's family has raised questions about the visibility of the rope at night. They pointed out that there were no warning signs or reflective markers on it. A family member stated, "The rope was tied as part of the security arrangements for the PM's visit. However, there was no ribbon or any reflective markers to make it visible at night."
PM Modi's visit overshadowed by tragic accident
Prime Minister Modi's scheduled visit to Kerala includes addressing two public gatherings as part of the Bharatiya Janata Party's election campaign. According to the PM's schedule, he will attend the election campaign for National Democratic Alliance candidates TN Sarasu and Suresh Gopi, contesting in Alathur and Thrissur respectively. After that, he will travel to Kattakkada in Thiruvananthapuram district.
