Delhi: Traffic advisory issued ahead of CM's oath ceremony

In view of the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister of Delhi, the Delhi Police have released a traffic advisory.
"In view of swearing-in ceremony of Hon'ble CM of Delhi on February 20, 2025 at Ramlila Ground, New Delhi, special traffic arrangements have been made," it said.
The ceremony will be held at Ramlila Maidan on Thursday at 11:00am.
Major route diversions and restrictions will be imposed from 7:00am to 4:00pm to control anticipated congestion.

Key roads around Ramlila Maidan will be affected by the event.
These include Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (ITO to Delhi Gate), Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (Delhi Gate to Guru Nanak Chowk), Aruna Asif Ali Road, Minto Road to Kamla Market to Hamdard Chowk, Ranjit Singh Flyover to Turkman Gate and Ajmeri Gate to Kamla Market.
Diversions will be made at Subhash Park T-Point, Raj Ghat, Delhi Gate, ITO, Ajmeri Gate etc.

The Delhi Police have appealed to citizens to cooperate and abide by the traffic guidelines.
Commuters are advised to use public transport and park only in designated areas, avoiding roadside parking.
They are also encouraged to report any suspicious activity to authorities immediately.
