    What's the story

Science stream students who have completed Class 12 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) have a lot of career options today.

The University of Delhi, established in 1922, is one of the most renowned educational institutions in India. The Delhi University offers a range of courses in various streams, including courses for PCM students.

Here are some DU colleges offering courses for PCM students.

    #1

DU's Cluster Innovation Centre offers a unique BTech program

Delhi University's Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC), established in 2011, offers a four-year BTech in Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations for PCM students.

Candidates who have secured at least 60% in any four subjects, including Mathematics, in Class-12 are eligible.

CIC conducts an entrance exam to admit students to the unique BTech program that deals in IT, Mathematics, Computer Science, Innovation and Technology Management.

    #2

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies also offers BTech

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS), established in 1987, is a popular college of the DU.

It offers a four-year BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and BSc (Honors) in Computer Science.

Students who have completed 10+2 in PCM stream are eligible for BTech and BSc courses. Admission to BTech is based on the candidate's score in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main.

    #3

St. Stephen's College offers these courses for PCM students

Apart from engineering courses, there are several other interesting science/tech-related courses offered by DU colleges that PCM students can opt for.

Among such colleges is St. Stephen's College, founded in 1881. It offers courses like BSc Physics (Hons.), BSc Chemistry (Hons.), BSc Mathematics (Hons.), and BSc Physical Science. Admission is based on one's Class-12 result and performance in the college's aptitude test and interview.

    #4

Sri Venkateswara College, one of popular colleges for PCM students

Sri Venkateswara College is another popular DU college for undergraduate science courses. The college, founded in 1961, is located in South Campus.

Admission to the college's programs is done on the basis of the candidate's score in 10+2 examination (or equivalent).

PCM stream students can opt for courses like BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Electronics, and Statistics offered by the college.

    #5

Hansraj College is another good option too

Hansraj College, established in 1948, is also one of the popular colleges under the Delhi University among PCM students for pursuing science courses.

Students are admitted if their Class 12 percentage falls in the cut-off lists released.

Though Hansraj doesn't offer engineering, PCM students can go for courses like BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, and Statistics, and BSc Physical Sciences.
