Tamil Nadu: AIADMK Thiruparankundram MLA, AK Bose, passes away
Ruling AIADMK MLA, AK Bose, representing Thiruparankundram Assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu, died due to a heart attack in the early hours today, his family said. He was 69. Bose complained of chest pain and was rushed to hospital but died on the way, they said. Bose was elected MLA from Thiruparankundram constituency in Madurai district thrice. Here's more.
Palaniswami, Panneerselvam express grief over Bose's death
Bose won the by-election after SM Seeninvelu, who won the seat in the May'16 Assembly elections, died before taking oath as an MLA. Tamil Nadu CM K Palaniswami and Deputy CM O Panneerselvam expressed their condolences. DMK Working President and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, MK Stalin, also condoled Bose's death, saying it was a big loss to the people of Thiruparankundram.
