    What's the story

    National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program, conducted by National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT).

    The exam helps identify and tap young, school-going students' potential.

    Considered one of the most prestigious exams in India, close to fifty lakh students appear for it each year.

    Here are top tips to help you crack the NTSE Scholarship exam.

    Analyze your strengths and weaknesses; Follow NCERT books

    Analyze: It's important to identify and analyze your strengths and weaknesses before actually beginning the preparation. Take out more time for your weaknesses and aim to improve your concepts.

    NCERT: NCERT books are of utmost importance to help you crack the NTSE Scholarship exam. So, get out your NCERT textbooks for Social Studies, Sciences and Maths for Classes 9th and 10th, and start preparing.

    Practise sample papers; Analyze your performance

    Sample papers: Get hold of, and start solving sample papers and mock test papers. This will give you decent idea about question-framing, exam pattern, difficulty level. Plus, solving these will also help improve your confidence level.

    Performance: After solving practice papers, analyze your performance and look at your strong and weak zones. Thereafter, build an apt strategy and prepare accordingly.
