Encounter: Three terrorists killed in J&K's Pulwama
Three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The gunfight, which started last evening in Kakapora area, lasted for over six hours. Security forces launched raids after they received intel that three local youths who had joined the LeT were holed up inside a house in the area.
Second successful operation against LeT in three days
This is the second successful operation against LeT in three days, and the first in Pulwama. A few days earlier, a commander of the terrorist outfit, Junaid Mattoo, was killed in Anantnag. Pulwama is suspected to be a main hub for local terrorists. The network is strengthened due to the large presence of over-ground workers. The identity of the three terrorists was being established.
