Indian Navy has 24 vacancies with salary upto Rs. 81,100
The Indian Navy has issued a notification for 24 vacancies for the post of Civilian Motor Driver Grade-II for posting at the Headquarters, Goa Naval Area. Indian nationals below the age of 25 can apply. They will have to clear a test. Candidates will be absorbed in Level 4 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs. 25,500-Rs. 81,100). All details here.
What do I need to qualify?
Responsibilities of the shortlisted candidates will including driving all types of motor vehicles, both heavy (HMV) and light (LMV), including school buses, ambulances, water tankers, staff cars etc. Candidates need to have passed Class 10, must possess a driving license for HMV and motorcycles, and have two years of experience in HMV driving. Sportspersons and SCs/STs will get age relaxation of five years.
How will they select candidates?
Candidates will be shortlisted according to merit, based on their application form. Those selected will have to undergo a written test. The test will include General Intelligence/Awareness and Reasoning (30 marks), General English (10), Numerical Aptitude (20) and awareness in relevant trade/field (40). A skill test may also be conducted, but candidates only need to qualify, they won't be scored in it.
