Fan makes 'PUBG' edition of Tata Nexon SUV: See here
We all know about the craze driven by Tencent's famous battle royale game, PlayerUnknown's Battleground or PUBG. The game has an immense fan-following in India, so much that a person has modified his Tata Nexon SUV to match the theme of the game. He calls this so-called tribute as the 'PUBG' edition. Let's see how it looks.
Tata Nexon gets PUBG elements
Tata Nexon is pretty common on the roads but this particular model has been upgraded with a bunch of accessories and stickers matching the PUBG theme. The model, as a YouTube video by Vinay Kapoor reveals, features stickers on the exterior, including those highlighting slogans like 'Winner Winner Chicken Dinner' and badges for conquerer, RP, BP, and other achievements.
What else the exterior offers
Among other things, the exterior of the car has been enhanced with a PUBG map outline and a rear diffuser featuring machined 'sniper' bullets (not real) used in the elite gun of the game.
Interior enhanced with in-game accessories
The interior of Nexon also brings several accessories from PUBG to treat the lovers of the game. This includes a 'gas can' on the air vent, a PUBG pan on the dashboard for keeping phones and coins, and a 'lucky air-drop' box in the boot. Notably, the rear of the car also features a grass-like mat and level 3 'PUBG helmet'.
How much this upgrade costs
All PUBG accessories integrated into this model were sourced from third parties and not Tata. The popularity of the game has increased so much that you can easily get stuff like this from a regular shop at just under Rs. 5,000. All the accessories used in this model came at Rs. 4,500, except the Red Rhino kit which costs Rs. 35,000.
