Rainfall impact
Agra's weather conditions lead to city-wide waterlogging
Agra has been grappling with heavy rainfall for three days, resulting in widespread waterlogging throughout the city.
The severe weather has caused flooding on national highways, crop submersion, and water choking in upscale neighborhoods.
Due to these extreme conditions, all schools in Agra were ordered to remain closed.
On Thursday alone, the city recorded 151mm of rain—the highest amount of rainfall in 24 hours over the past 80 years.
