Suspicious bag found at Delhi Airport, reportedly contained RDX

On the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, a suspicious bag was found at Terminal 3 of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, causing panic among passengers and staff.
Preliminary reports have suggested that the bag contained RDX. However, the exact nature of the explosives is yet to be ascertained.

Bag has been kept under observation to judge explosives' nature
The bag was spotted around 1 am near Gate number 2 of the arrival terminal. Soon, a bomb and dog squad was deployed, and it was removed from the site.
Sources told PTI that the bag has been kept under observation for the next 24 hours, after which officials will be able to give a clearer picture.
The explosive could also be an IED.

Senior cop said the bag is yet to be opened
"The bag was removed with the help of CISF and shifted to another place. It hasn't been opened yet. It seems like there is some electric wire inside it. We've increased the security of the airport premises," said Sanjay Bhatia, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Airport).

Naturally, security was upped at Terminal 3 after the incident. Not only were passengers stopped from exiting the arrival gates for some hours, but roads leading to the posh terminal were also blocked.
After CISF and Delhi Police personnel ran a thorough anti-sabotage check, passengers were allowed to move around 4 am.
Meanwhile, some fliers complained about the lack of information.
