Jammu on high alert after suspected militant movement along I-B
The Jammu region has been put on a high alert since 12 am after detection of suspected movement of militants near Kathua district's Tarnah Allah area close to the International Border (I-B), a police official said. The development comes ahead of PM Narendra Modi's visit to the state on May 19. Police and security forces set up check posts and launched search operations.

Security installations and establishments were put on high alert along the highways of Kathua, Samba, and Jammu districts. Three to four suspected militants are believed to be a part of the group that infiltrated from Pakistan in Tarnah Allah in the Londi-Bobbiyan area.
