Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, has developed allergies during her visit to the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
However, despite her condition, she plans to participate in the ritual of taking a dip in the Ganga river, spiritual leader Swami Kailashanand Giri confirmed.
"She has some allergies. She has never been to such a crowded place," Giri told ANI.

Jobs's stay and participation at Maha Kumbh
Jobs reached Prayagraj on Monday and will remain at the Niranjini Akhara camp till Wednesday before heading back to the US for President-elect Donald Trump's swearing-in ceremony on January 20.
The Maha Kumbh is among the world's largest religious gatherings, held every 12 years at one of four places—Prayagraj, Nashik, Haridwar, and Ujjain—in India.
The ongoing event is a rare celestial occurrence taking place once every 144 years and will continue till February 26.

Jobs to observe 'kalpavas' at Maha Kumbh
Jobs, who has been assigned the Hindu name "Kamala," intends to observe "kalpavas" during her stay, per reports.
This custom entails taking daily baths in the Ganga and attending sermons and bhajans at different camps from Paush Purnima to Maghi Purnima.
The event is likely to attract millions of devotees, including VIPs and spiritual leaders, from across the globe to the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Sarasvati rivers.
