Fans rush to Sridevi's house, but funeral to be delayed
Since the news of Sridevi's death broke, fans have been waiting outside her residence in Mumbai to pay their respects. But the funeral, scheduled at 11am today, is likely to be delayed; her body was still at Dubai Police's Forensic department this morning as autopsy results couldn't be released on time. Despite reports of a cardiac arrest, there's no confirmation of that yet.

The legendary actor passed away on the night of February 24. The cause of her death was reported to be a massive cardiac arrest. She was 54. Sridevi, along with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi, was in Dubai to attend the wedding of nephew Mohit Marwah. Condolences poured in on social media. Sridevi was preparing for dinner with husband when she died
Sridevi died while getting ready for dinner. Boney had left Dubai three days ago, but returned on Saturday to surprise her. He woke her up in her hotel room at around 5:30pm. They chatted for 15 minutes before she went for a bath. When she didn't emerge for sometime, he knocked, then broke down the door to find her lying motionless in the water.
Sridevi had no history of heart disease, family left shocked
The sudden death came as a shock not just to her millions of fans, but also to her family. Her brother-in-law Sanjay Kapoor revealed that Sridevi had never suffered any sort of heart disease before.
Jahnvi, who wasn't with her mother in last moments, 'inconsolable'
Elder daughter Jahnvi, who is shooting for Karan Johar's 'Dhadak,' was inconsolable after the death, reports said. She had skipped the wedding and had stayed back in Mumbai to work on her debut film. Mentor Johar was reportedly the first to rush to her side after the news broke and took her to her uncle Anil Kapoor's house.

Top industry leaders expected to attend the actor's funeral
Sridevi's funeral is expected to be attended by the top names in the industry including Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna. Meanwhile, Bollywood biggies have been dropping by Anil Kapoor's residence to pay their tribute. Her stepson Arjun Kapoor was also seen visiting. The chartered flight to bring back her body was reportedly sent by Anil Ambani.
